The Canadian Food Inspection Agency released Taynton Bay Spirits pickle vodka recalled due to high copper content.
The affected product is batch 36 and is sold in 750ml bottles in British Columbia, Alberta and online.
It may also have been released nationally.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said there were reports of illness in the product.
The agency said further recalls may be announced as the food safety investigation continues.
