Australia and New Zealand tour was a turning point
Harry and Meghan believe the turning point in their relationship with the media came during their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. They were hugely popular, drawing huge crowds wherever they went, and Meghan was regarded as a royal rock star. They believe this stoked jealousy within the royal family and put too much focus on Meghan.
Prince Harry spoke about the hierarchy within the royal family, where the more senior members are traditionally the most beloved. But in terms of public acceptance of her, Meghan appears to be more popular, which the Sussexes believe is a problem for the family.

Doria heartbroken to hear Meghan has suicidal thoughts
Meghan’s mum, Doria Ragland, returned to the episodes and spoke very movingly about hearing about her daughter’s suicidal thoughts. She said Meghan’s mental health has gone from bad to worse as the negative press surrounding Meghan and Harry grows by the day and the company fails to respond. Friends said she seemed to be left alone. She even said, “If I wasn’t around, this would all stop.”
Doria said she was devastated to hear the incident and felt she could not protect her daughter. Harry went on to admit he was devastated to hear Meghan wanted to die.He said: “At this point, I feel angry and ashamed. I didn’t handle it particularly well. I handled it as an institutional Harry, not my husband Harry… Looking back now, I hate myself.” Meghan also reiterated what she said in the interview Oprah Winfrey March 2021 – She wanted to go somewhere for help, but was told it was not possible, and suggested to Harry that she should handle it herself.
There will be no King Charles III bouts with the British press
Harry is determined that the company should stand up to the British media and the seemingly false narratives they create. He told his father, now King Charles III, about it, and Harry said he told him, “My dear boy, you can’t deal with the press — the press will always be the press.” Harry went on to talk about reconciling with him. The communications team his brothers worked with, and how they covered up negative news about the royals they cared for by exchanging stories about another family member. This would usually involve throwing Meghan and Harry under the bus, he said.
“I’ve got 30 years of experience to go behind the scenes and see how the system works, how it works,” Harry said. “Just keep introducing other family members, about the benefits of having the media involved. It’s a dirty game.” Harry and his brother have watched their dad do the same thing for years, and promise they never will Be a part of it. But when the Sussexes and Cambridges separated their offices, it became the norm, Harry said.
Harry and William are a long way from reconciliation
Over the last three episodes, it’s become apparent that the relationship between Harry and William is fractured, to say the least. After their press office separated in March 2019, Harry said he felt William was happy to see negative reports about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and they would go out to protect themselves, leaving the brothers’ relationship at best cold.
Things got worse during the Sandringham summit in January 2020, when Harry and William sat down with their father and Queen Elizabeth II to discuss Harry’s future as a royal. Harry said it was horrific for his brother to scream at him when his father said it was “not true at all” and the Queen sat quietly and took it all in. Later, we see Harry receive a text message from William the day after the Oprah interview airs. We don’t know what he said in the text message, but we saw Meghan and Harry’s reaction, which seemed to be negative. At least for now, the animosity between them is still there.
Harry holds Daily Mail responsible for Meghan’s miscarriage
